Hooray! I woke up this morning and discovered that I have acne.

To most people, that would be bad news. In my case however, it happens to be the most tangible early indicator that this particular chemo drug is working. Study after study has concluded that the more prevalent the acne, the more effective the drug.

I have only three of the little wonders so far, but it’s a start.

The physicians ask me every time I talk with one of them if any acne has appeared. I will be seeing the primary oncologist on Thursday, and I can hardly wait to show him my latest accomplishment.
